How a screaming match over a coupon changed my mind for good
I used to never accept expired coupons, no matter what. Then a customer yelled at me because hers was just a day old. I saw how much stress it caused for both of us. Now I make exceptions for nice people, and my shifts are way less tense.

Exactly! Arguing over pennies just makes the whole shopping experience miserable.

Honestly, are store coupons really the hill to die on? The discount is usually so small it barely matters to the company's bottom line. Just seems like a weird thing to get that worked up about either way.
