Stopped by the library in Bellingham and saw a vintage IBM Model M on the front desk

The librarian said it's been there since 1992 and they just keep fixing the keycaps. Anyone know a good source for replacement buckling springs?

Yeah, the whole "still making new ones" thing got me thinking. I actually bought one of their classic models a few years back, the one that feels like the old IBM boards. It showed up in a plain brown box, no fancy packaging, and it weighed a ton. The keys have that loud, deep click that you just don't get anymore. It's still plugged in at my dad's place because he refuses to type on anything else.
