Lubed my first set of switches took 4 hours but wow what a difference
I finally sat down last weekend and lubed a full set of Gateron Milky Yellows for my first proper build. Used Krytox 205g0 and a little brush set from Amazon, and the difference before and after is night and day. The scratchy feel is totally gone and they sound way deeper now. Anyone else get surprised by how much lube changes the feel?

Go easy on the hype. 4 hours for one set seems like a lot. I did a batch of Kailh Box switches once and honestly couldn't tell much difference after lubing them. Maybe my fingers are just dead from typing all day. Or maybe the stock switches were already decent. Felt like a waste of an evening to me.

Nah man, I gotta disagree. The difference on my Milky Yellows was night and day, totally killed the scratch and made them sound way deeper. Maybe Box switches just don't benefit as much but lubing made a huge difference for me.
