Two years of sponsorships and my RPM finally doubled, here's what actually moved it
I started doing YouTube sponsorships back in 2022 with a $50 CPM from a VPN company. Last month I signed a deal at $110 CPM with a meal kit brand, and my retention stayed above 60% the whole time. The big change came when I stopped putting the ad read at the front and started weaving the product into the actual content. I also cut my video length from 15 minutes down to 9, which seems to keep people watching past the mid-roll. Has anyone else seen their sponsor rates jump after they changed how they integrated the ad, or is this just a lucky market swing?

Mine jumped 40% switching to mid-roll integrations too.
