Ditched spreadsheets for a $20 planner and my content calendar finally works
I spent 2 years tracking every video idea in Google Sheets and barely posted half of what I planned, then after missing a brand deadline last spring I switched to a physical weekly planner from Target. Has anyone else found that old school planning beats the fancy tools, or am I just lying to myself?

Is the problem actually the tool, or is it that your ideas need time to marinate before they get made? When I used digital tools, everything felt urgent and editable, so I'd constantly rearrange and never commit. With a paper planner, once I write something down for Tuesday at 2pm, it feels like a promise to myself, and crossing it off is way more satisfying than checking a box. Plus, there's something about physically flipping back through pages that shows you your real habits, not just your wishful thinking. The fancy tools give you tons of data about what you didn't do, but the planner just makes you face it directly and move on.
