Honestly, I used to think those little load indicator stickers were just for show

Tbh, I saw a guy in Tampa miss a major crack on a spreader bar because he ignored the faded color on the tag. That could've been a real bad day. Anyone else had a close call that made them start checking the small stuff?

That's a scary one to hear about... faded tags are no joke. It's crazy how something so small can hide a problem that big. Makes you wonder how many people just glance at them and assume it's fine. I'd be checking every piece of gear twice after seeing something like that go down.

My last harness inspection was basically me squinting at it from across the room. Figured if I couldn't see any obvious rips from there, it was probably good. This post is a real wake-up call.
