I finally hit 100 hours in Stardew Valley and the number that shocked me was my 6 real life months of playtime
I finally checked my save file last night and saw 100 hours logged in Stardew Valley. That sounds like a lot until I did the math and realized I started this farm back in April, so it took me 6 months of real time to get there. The weird part is I only just now unlocked the greenhouse, which felt like a huge milestone for how slow I was going. I kept getting distracted by fishing and talking to the townsfolk instead of actually building stuff. My friend says she hit 100 hours in 3 weeks, which made me feel like a snail. Has anyone else played this slow, or am I the only one who treats it like a hangout sim?

What did you actually spend most of those 100 hours on? The fishing and talking to townsfolk part makes it sound like you were doing a lot of standing around and not much farming. I ask because 6 months for a greenhouse is wild, but if you were mostly just hanging out with the NPCs and wandering the map, that changes how I read the number. Do you ever set goals for a session, or do you just log in and see where the day takes you?
