Spent $400 on a book about the moon landing being faked, and it was just old news.

I bought a fancy hardcover from an online speaker who promised new proof, but it was the same tired arguments from the 70s with some blurry photos. Felt like a real waste after reading it in one sitting. Has anyone else found a conspiracy theory book that actually had something new to say?

That's the whole grift right there. They just repackage the same old stuff for a new crowd. You basically paid $400 for a fancy paperweight.

Yeah, my buddy got totally burned on one of those. He bought this "smart" home gadget that was just a basic timer in a shiny case. It broke after two weeks, and the company ghosted him. It's exactly what @lucas63 is saying, just a new logo on the same junk. He's got a $400 brick that doesn't even keep time now.
