I hit 47 tabs open while researching the moon landing and realized something weird
Two weeks ago I was digging into the Apollo 11 'missing tapes' story and looked up and had 47 browser tabs open, all from different sites, and half of them contradicted each other. It hit me that the deeper I go on any conspiracy, the harder it gets to tell who's actually lying and who just copied the person lying. At what point do you all stop researching and just pick a side?

47 tabs is nothing, I once had 80 open trying to figure out if birds are real and my laptop just gave up and died on me. But yeah the copying thing is the real problem, you end up reading the same wrong claim on 12 sites that all stole it from one guy's blog in 2003. I usually stop when I catch myself reloading a page I already read looking for a different answer.
