A rainy day led to a decent talk about cloud seeding conspiracies

I was stuck under a tarp with my crew during a downpour yesterday. Someone mentioned cloud seeding and how it might be used for control. I've never really understood why people think that. So I brought up a article I read last month from a science blog. We ended up discussing if governments really hide weather tech. A few guys shared stories they heard online. I felt good that we could talk without yelling. It's a small win in my book to have a calm debate.

That idea about hidden weather tech is the key to these conspiracies. Governments keep a lot of military tech secret for years, so it's easy to believe they have advanced climate stuff. My cousin works on radar systems and says half of what they do is still classified, which just feeds those stories.

Sounds like my cousin's job would ruin my fun theories too.

Guess how fast a secret radar system turns into a weather machine in people's minds. My cousin's job just proves that if we don't know something, we make up a cool story. Governments likely hide boring budget details, not giant climate lasers. Think about it, if they had weather tech, we'd have perfect beach days every weekend. Instead, we get rain on picnics and conspiracies online. It's funny how secrecy feeds the wildest ideas without any real proof!
