Found out the average finisher in my state is 46 years old and I felt that in my knees
Was poking around a trade workforce report from the state labor board and saw the median age for concrete finishers in Texas is 46, with fewer than 1 in 10 under 30. Explains why every crew I've been on in 20 years looks the same and the new guys quit after one hot pour. Anybody actually getting young guys to stick around past their first summer?

Good luck finding a twenty year old who wants to bake in the sun for forty years just to feel his knees pop at forty six.
