Ran a cable in a dropped ceiling last week that took me back to 2019
I was fishing a Cat6 through the same office building I did my first big network install in three years ago and the ceiling tiles still have the same coffee stain from when I set my drink down wrong, has anyone else noticed how some jobs just never really change?

Actually Cat6 was officially released in 2008, not 2019.

Oh I feel that one, @lucas63 is right about the spec date but the real story here is the time warp. I had a job last year where I found a ziptie I left on a pipe in 2017, same lube residue and everything. That coffee stain is basically part of the ceiling now, like a hidden time capsule. My trick for those repeat spots is to take a picture of the ceiling grid with my phone before I leave, saves me from second guessing every visit. Some buildings just have a way of holding onto your mistakes like that, you know?
