Guy at the Des Moines repair shop called my bench setup "a rat king of adapters," and he was dead on
He watched me dig through 6 different dongles just to power one SATA drive and said "you built a rat king and forgot the damn mouse." I swapped the mess for one labeled bin and a $12 power cable, which cut my drive test time from about 10 minutes to 2. What weird little thing did a mentor or coworker call out on your bench that you ended up changing?
