A customer asked me to fix a computer that "smelled loud"

Had a walk in yesterday, guy brings in a tower with a note taped to it saying "makes loud smell when on." I thought it was a joke. Fired it up and sure enough, there was this weird buzzing noise coming from the PSU and the room instantly smelled like burnt toast and hot plastic. Opened the side panel and found a mouse nest packed right against the exhaust fan. Not kidding, there was a dead mouse and a bunch of dry grass all over the capacitors. Took me 45 minutes to clean it all out and swap the fan. Charged the guy $80 and he still asked if I could save the mouse. Has anyone else found something genuinely wild stuffed inside a case? I once fished out a sock from a dell optiplex but a whole nest is a new record for me.
