Shoutout to the guy who toured my strip mall site in full golf gear
Last Thursday I had a prospect show up to look at a 2,400 sq ft unit in an old strip mall outside Phoenix, and he walked in wearing cleats, a visor, and carrying a 9-iron. He said he wanted to see if the back parking lot could double as a putting range, which is absurd because there's a ditch and a light pole right where the ball would land. I spent 45 minutes explaining lease terms while he practiced his swing in the breezeway. He then asked if the HVAC unit counted as a hazard, and I nearly lost it. Has anyone else had a buyer or tenant treat a tour like a hobby session instead of a business deal?
