My HVAC guy in Tucson said the building would be fine for years, and the July electric bill made him a liar
Signed a 4,000 sq ft retail lease on Speedway back in March and skipped the full inspection to save $900. Then the temps hit 108 and both rooftop units started short cycling, so my tenants were sweating and the power bill came in at $2,100 for one month. I finally paid a different guy to check it out and he found the coils packed solid with dust, plus one compressor on its way out. Anybody got a rough number on what a full rooftop replacement runs in Tucson these days, because I would rather hear it from you all than from another sales guy.
