Had to pick between a Kirby Morgan and a Divex neck dam on a salvage job in Norfolk last spring

I was prepping for a 10-day salvage job on an old tugboat off the Norfolk coast. The company gave me two options for neck dams: a standard KM 37 or a Divex Ultima. I went with the KM because I'd used it before. First dive down to 90 feet, the seal held fine but after about 3 hours I started getting a wicked cold water trickle down my back. The other diver on the crew had the Divex and said his stayed bone dry the whole shift. Has anyone else had issues with the KM neck dam leaking on longer dives at depth? I'm thinking of switching for the next job.

Three hours in and that cold trickle sounds miserable, I've seen that same pattern with cheaper wetsuit zippers that fail halfway through a session. It's funny how gear can seem fine for a while then just betray you when you need it most.

Man, that's the story of my life... I once had a zipper fail on me in a way that made me question if I even knew how to put on a wetsuit in the first place.
