Watched a whole longbox get water damaged in a basement flood...

My buddy's basement took on 3 inches of water last weekend and he lost about $200 worth of silver age issues that were stored in a cardboard box on the floor. Anyone else switched over to plastic bins after seeing something like that happen?

Plastic bins can still leak, raise them up on cinder blocks instead lol.

Huh, I always thought plastic bins were fine, but you're right, that makes way more sense.
