Showerthought: I spent 3 hours deciding between Python and JavaScript for my first project.
I picked Python to make a simple text game, but got stuck because I kept using semicolons out of habit from my old C class. Anyone else have a 'language muscle memory' problem when starting out?

Ever notice how your hands remember old routines better than your brain does? I kept trying to turn off my friend's car with a phantom key for weeks after I got push button start. Your fingers just get stuck in those old grooves.

Oh my gosh YES! I still reach for the gear shift in my new car even though it's just a little dial now.

Wait, has anyone else seen that happen where muscle memory just completely takes over? My buddy Dave got a new car last year with the push button start and he still fumbles around for a key that isn't there every single time he gets in. He swore he'd never get used to it, but after about two months his hand finally stopped reaching for the steering column. It's wild how your body just remembers the old way even when your brain knows better.
