PSA: Keep a simple text file of your common code errors
I started jotting down my screw-ups and the fixes in a notepad file. Saves me from googling the same thing over and over lol.

How do you organize your notes so you can actually find the fix later? I tried this but my file got messy fast, and then it was useless. A good system seems key for this to work long-term.

Use folders, not one big file.

Yeah folders help but like mitchell.mia said, you need a system. I mean just making a bunch of folders isn't enough, you gotta stick to some simple rules. Otherwise it gets messy again real fast.
