Just realized my friend Mike was right about learning Python slowly
I was trying to learn Python by jumping into big projects like a weather app and a game. My buddy Mike kept telling me to just do small exercises for 15 minutes a day instead. I thought that was too slow and would take forever to learn anything useful. After 3 weeks of struggling with my weather app and feeling totally lost, I finally tried his approach. I started doing those tiny problems on Edabit and Codecademy, like reversing strings and finding prime numbers. Turns out Mike was completely right because after 2 months of short daily practice, I can actually read and understand code way better now. Has anyone else had a friend give them advice that felt wrong but turned out to be golden?

Mike's advice about those 15 minute sessions is basically how I learned guitar too... small consistent steps add up way faster than you'd think.

Totally agree @beth_butler75, it's wild how much grinding tiny things pays off. My buddy told me the same thing about running, just start with a mile a day instead of trying to do a half marathon first. Felt wrong but now I can actually go for longer runs without wanting to die.
