Hit 10,000 parts run without a single reject yesterday
I've been running the same Haas VF-2 for about 4 years now, mostly aerospace parts for a shop outside Phoenix. Yesterday I hit 10,000 parts on one job without a single reject. That's 10,000 aluminum brackets, all within .001 tolerance. I honestly didn't even realize I was that close until my lead showed me the spreadsheet. It's not a huge number compared to some guys, but for this shop with our old machines it felt like a big deal. The QC guy even came over and said "that's the best run we've had in 5 years." Has anyone else hit a milestone like that and just not seen it coming till you checked the numbers?

Peeled a 12-foot aluminum chip off that same model last spring and it clogged the conveyor so bad we lost half a shift. Hit 10k is way better than that.
