The sky over my town looked like a painting last Tuesday evening
I was closing up my shop around 6:30 PM when I saw the whole western sky lit up with mammatus clouds. They were these big, pouch-like shapes hanging down, all lit in orange and pink from the sunset. It reminded me of being a kid and just staring up at the sky for what felt like hours. I don't see formations that clear and colorful very often anymore. Did anyone else catch that display, or was it just my part of the county?

Saw those clouds too and just stopped to stare, which even @spencer_bell might have done.

Yeah, I did the same thing last week. Just pulled over on my way home and sat there for a good 5 minutes watching them shift colors.
