Saw some weird lenticular clouds over Table Mountain last week...
Are those actually just formed by wind hitting the mountain, or is there something deeper going on with the air pressure? I saw two layers stacked on top of each other and got to wondering if that means something different weather-wise...

Stacked lenticulars usually mean strong winds aloft, not just the mountain shaping it.

Totally agree @diana_park, and it makes me think about how those same invisible forces shape so much more than just clouds. That same kind of strong but unseen pressure shows up everywhere, like in a relationship or at work where you can feel something building but can't point to it. The real trick is noticing the signs before things get wild, you know? It's like the way the sky looks before a big storm, just that quiet tension in the air.
