I finally got a decent shot of a Kelvin-Helmholtz wave cloud after wasting $40 on a lens filter that just made everything hazy.
Threw it out after one foggy morning at the lake... what's a good budget filter brand that actually works for sky shots?

I used to just grab the cheapest filter, but my buddy's old Hoya filter proved me wrong. It's not the priciest, but it doesn't mess up the sky like those cheap ones do.

My old Tiffen filter lasted years for under thirty bucks. It's a solid step up from the no-name junk.
