Caught a shelf cloud over Costco, changed how I check radar now

Last month I was in the parking lot when this huge greenish shelf cloud rolled in, looked like the sky was about to drop a wall on us. It got me watching the storm cell approach on my phone, and now I check radar direction before I even leave the house. Anyone else start tracking clouds differently after seeing one that intense?

Wall on us" is a bit dramatic, it was just a cloud.
