TIL my garage door spring snapped at 6 AM on a Tuesday
Last Tuesday I went to leave for work and my garage door just sat there when I hit the button. Turns out one of the torsion springs snapped clean in half, and that thing sounded like a gunshot when it went. Anyone know a good local company in Westlake that won't charge an arm and a leg for spring replacement?

Wait, are you sure it's not the other way around? I feel like stuff breaking at 6 AM is better than 3 PM on a Sunday because at least stores and repair guys are open by 8 AM instead of you having to wait till Monday. Wouldn't you rather get it over with first thing in the morning than have your whole weekend ruined?

Yeah that's just how it goes with garage doors, they always break at the worst possible time. Not like 3 PM on a Sunday when you're just chilling, nope, has to be 6 AM on a Tuesday right when you're already running late. I've noticed this pattern with basically every major household thing - water heaters, AC units, garage springs, they all seem to have a sixth sense for when you're most screwed. It's almost like the universe is trying to tell us something about being prepared.
