PSA: It took me 6 calls and 3 hours to figure out Rocky River's leaf pickup schedule this year
I kept missing the pickup because the dates on the city website were wrong for my zone, but a nice lady at the public works office finally told me to just check the printed flyer at the library instead. Has anyone else had trouble finding the right info for their neighborhood?

Oh man, I spent a solid 45 minutes on hold with Rocky River public works last fall... the automated system kept telling me to check the website, but the website said pickup was on a Tuesday when my neighbor's pile sat there until Friday. Finally figured out my zone's schedule from a crumpled flyer taped to the bulletin board at the rec center. Classic Rocky River - digital info is always a mess but the paper stuff works somehow. Glad I'm not the only one who had to become a leaf detective just to avoid getting a ticket.

Oh wow, let me tell you I read something in the Westlake community Facebook group last week about this exact same thing! Someone said the city's app shows pickup dates that don't match the printed calendar they mailed out in November. @laura_knight54 you are so right about that paper stuff being the only reliable source. I swear it's like they design the digital info to be confusing on purpose, maybe to keep the public works folks from getting overwhelmed? My neighbor two doors down just piles his leaves on the curb whenever and hopes for the best, which is bold considering the ticket situation around here.
