Downtown Cleveland parking garages vs the lakefront lots, I'll take the garages every time now

I used to always park at the Wendy Park lot on the lakefront when I'd go to Browns games or shows at Jacobs Pavilion. Figured it was cheaper and a nice walk. But after getting stuck in traffic for 45 minutes trying to leave after a concert last July, I tried the Willard Park Garage downtown instead. It cost me $22 compared to $15 at the lakefront, but I got out of there in under 10 minutes. Plus my car wasn't covered in seagull droppings. The walk is a bit longer but honestly it's not that bad. Has anyone else made the switch and found a garage that's worth the extra few bucks?

Oh man I gotta disagree with you there lol. I switched from garages to the lakefront lots last season and I'm never going back. Yeah you might wait a bit to leave but I like being able to tailgate and hang out by the water before games without feeling rushed. Plus that walk along the shore is half the fun for me.
