Switched to a polypropylene brush head and it disintegrated on the third job

A customer in Lakewood called me back because black plastic shavings were falling into her fireplace, so now I'm stuck going back to the old bristle style, anyone else had a poly brush fall apart that fast?

Man, that's rough. I've had a polypropylene brush head come apart on me before but never that fast, usually it's after a couple months of regular use. But with that kind of failure on the third job, it sounds like you got a defective one or maybe it was stored wrong in the warehouse. You definitely made the right call switching back to bristle, those old brushes might scratch a bit more but at least they don't fall to pieces on the job.

That third job failure screams bad plastic from the get go, not just normal wear and tear.
