Read a study that said 70% of diners now check online menus before choosing a place

Found it in a hospitality report from last quarter... makes you think about how much that first digital impression matters. How much time do you guys spend on your menu descriptions online?

Ngl that study sounds about right. But what happens when the real menu shows up and it's totally different from the online one? Seen that a few times and it's a huge letdown. How do you even start to keep those two things in sync without it being a full time job?

Our menu descriptions get updated constantly because people really do judge the whole place by them. It's wild how much a few words on a screen can make or break a night.

Seriously, the food itself should matter way more than some fancy words.
