Can we talk about that fancy sous vide machine I bought on a whim?

I was convinced it would change my game, but after six months of it just taking up a whole cabinet, I finally sold it for half of what I paid, losing about $300, and honestly, my braised short ribs from the Dutch oven are still better (anyone have a gadget they regret that much?).

What did you try to cook in it? I read a whole thread where people said they only used theirs for steak and eggs, which seems like a lot of money and space for two things.
