Just found out cats have a special 'slow blink' they use to show they trust you

I read this in a book from the library last month, 'The Cat Behavior Answer Book'. It said if you slowly blink back at them, it's like saying 'I love you' in cat. Has anyone else tried this and seen their cat do it back?

Try giving them a treat when they make eye contact, it worked for my cat.
