I blew $85 on a cat water fountain because the internet swore running water stops glass knocking
Spent $85 on one of those ceramic fountains after reading that cats knock cups off tables because they want moving water. My cat Biscuit ignored it for 3 weeks, then figured out how to pull the top off and flood my kitchen floor twice. He is still knocking my water glass off the nightstand at 5am, so now I just drink from a bottle with a lid. If your cat is a table shover, save the money and buy a $4 cup with a cover, and tell me how yours actually got them to stop.

Watch where your cat drinks from outside the bowl. Mine quit shoving glasses once I put a plain mug of water on the floor by his food, because the whole thing was about having a water source he could see and reach without jumping up. The fountain failed because it was new and weird, not because moving water is magic.
