Update: I finally weighed my loaded bag at the Denver airport and it was 31 lbs
I always bragged that my 40L bag fit in the overhead bin, but the scale at DIA showed I was hauling 31 pounds while my buddy's 30L bag came in at 16. Now I'm wondering if the "bigger bag means more room" thing is backwards, so what size bag do you all actually carry for a week?
