Spent $38 on packing cubes I used once and now they just live in my closet
Bought a set of those compression cubes from an airport store in Denver last spring. Figured they would be the thing that finally got me down to one bag. Used them for one trip to Phoenix and hated every minute. Stuffing a cube is like wrestling a sleeping bag back into its sack. My regular ziplock bags and a couple of rubber bands do the same job for about two bucks. The cubes are sitting on the top shelf next to a travel pillow I also never use. Has anyone actually made those cubes work, or did I just buy the wrong kind?
Bought a bread maker, a juicer, and a set of those cubes, and all three taught me the same lesson about stuff that promises to fix something. The gadgets are never the problem, it's the packing that's the problem, and ziplocks already solved it.
