I packed a full size towel for a weekend in Chicago and felt like a fool.
My bag was so bulky I had to check it, which cost $30. Should we just rely on hotel towels or is there a decent travel towel that actually works?

Oh man, I've totally been that person trying to stuff a beach towel into a duffel bag lol. Felt like I was packing a parachute for a two day trip. I grabbed a cheap microfiber towel from a camping store years ago and it's a game changer, dries fast and rolls up tiny. Still not as nice as a real towel, but it beats a $30 bag fee any day.
