Hit 30 trips with the same 20L bag last month, never expected that

I bought this 20L backpack back in 2018 for a weekend in Denver, figured I'd use it maybe twice a year. Last month I counted up and I've done 30 separate trips with it, from 2 nights to a 10 day stretch in Seattle. What surprised me is the 10 day one, I had to do laundry twice and skip my bulky jacket, but it worked. My old 35L suitcase used to stress me out with checking bag fees and waiting at carousels. Has anyone else hit a random milestone with one bag that made them realize their setup was better than they thought?

Are you really saving time if you're doing laundry on vacation? I mean, two washes in a 10 day trip sounds like a major hassle to me, especially when you could just toss everything in a bigger bag and not think about it again. Those sink washing sessions eat up hours you could spend actually seeing Seattle. And skipping your bulky jacket? That's not a win, that's you getting lucky with the weather. One cold snap and you're buying an overpriced tourist hoodie just to stay warm. Plus, packing that 20L tight means you're probably living out of a wrinkled mess by day three, digging for things and re-stuffing it every morning.
