Just switched my mind on using glue down for big commercial jobs

I used to think glue down was always slower than stretch in until last week when I did a 3,000 square foot office lobby in Denver. The prep took longer but the actual install was done in under 5 hours and the seams came out perfectly flat. Has anyone else found glue down faster on certain rooms or am I just getting lucky?

Tried glue down on a school hallway last month and tripped over my own air hose twice. Thought I had it all figured out til I realized I was still faster than stretch in by a solid hour. Guess my clumsiness just speeds things up somehow.

Ha, nothing like a little chaos to boost your speed. Sounds like your tripping hazard doubled as a motivational tool. At least you didn't take out the glue bucket on the way down.
