Bought a cheap power stretcher off Amazon and it snapped on my third job

The handle just broke clean off while I was stretching a living room in a 4 bedroom house in Phoenix. Got through two rooms fine but the third one it gave out. Anyone else had luck with those $80 stretchers or should I just bite the bullet and get a Crain?

Think those cheap ones are a gamble, you got lucky on two jobs before it failed.

Yeah those cheap ones are basically a lottery ticket, just sometimes you get lucky before they crap out.
