Adhesive gun clogging in cold spaces is my biggest headache

I was on a garage carpet job last week, and my adhesive gun kept clogging due to the cold. Every few feet, I had to stop and clear the nozzle, which slowed me down a lot. The customer was watching, and I could tell they were annoyed. This isn't the first time this has happened in cold spaces. I've tried keeping the adhesive inside overnight, but it's not always possible. What do other installers do to deal with this? Are there better tools or techniques? I'm tired of wasting time and materials on these calls.

Try warming the nozzle with your customer's disappointed sighs, it's the only heat source you've got in that freezer of a garage. Nothing says quality install like a technician performing emergency surgery on a glue gun every five minutes.

The customer watching part is the worst.

Hate the silent judgment from their watchful eyes.
