Warning about the new composite decking at the big box store in Springfield

Honestly, I was installing a whole backyard set with it last week and the hidden fasteners kept pulling straight through the material. Has anyone else run into this with that specific brand?

Yeah, that part about the hidden fasteners pulling through is a huge red flag. I had the same thing happen on a small landing I built last fall. The screw head just tore right through the little groove on the underside. Ended up having to go back and add face screws in a bunch of spots, which totally defeats the point of the hidden system. It's so frustrating when the material just can't hold.
