Hauled a classic Mustang from Denver to Salt Lake last Tuesday and got lucky with the weather

I was dreading that run because the forecast showed snow near the passes, but it ended up being clear the whole way. Turned a 9 hour drive into a smooth 8 hours with no tie-down issues or delays. The guy who owned the car even met me at a truck stop in Moab with hot coffee and cash. Anyone else ever have a random customer just make your whole day easier?

That "hot coffee and cash" move is rare but GOLDEN. Next time you get a good customer like that, snap a pic of their truck and send it to them after delivery - that tiny gesture locks you in as their go-to hauler forever.

Three hours into that Denver run I had a guy flash his brights at me near the Eisenhower tunnel just to warn me about a loose strap I'd missed. Saved me from a flat tire and probably losing the load. Your Mustang owner sounds like a unicorn though. Most of my customers just toss cash through the window and peel out like they're avoiding a crime scene. The coffee move is next level. I'd frame that memory in my head for the next time someone hands me a sweaty twenty through a crack in their window at a Pilot.
