That $90 hot shoe rebuild kit saved my 1980s flash gun
Picked up a used Sunpak handle mount flash for $40 at a Portland garage sale and the foot was cracked so bad it wobbled. Spent $90 on a metal replacement shoe kit with proper screws and it took about an hour with a jeweler's screwdriver to get everything solid again. Anyone else bother rebuilding old flashes instead of just retiring them to the shelf?
