My old fish tape routine vs the glow rod method

I used to spend 45 minutes wrestling a steel fish tape through a ceiling in an old office downtown, then I tried a glow rod set on a rewire last spring and finished in 10. The bendy rods just snake around insulation and fire block like they have a brain, but I still carry the steel tape for long conduit pulls. Anyone else keep both in the van or did you go full glow rod after the first try?
