My $200 fiber splice tray kit was a waste, plain fusion holders work better

Bought that fancy magnetic tray system for aerial work and it kept snagging on my lanyard in the bucket. $200 later, I'm back to the basic foam holders that cost a fraction, anyone else ditch the pricey organizers for simplicity?

Did you ever try routing the lanyard behind your shoulder instead of letting it hang in front of the tray? A cheap foam holder still wins if your gear keeps grabbing everything in reach.
