I used to cut all my dados with a router jig, but after a kitchen job in Spokane, I switched to the table saw for good.

Yeah, the router was my go-to for years too. I had this one bookshelf project where every dado was just a hair off, and I spent more time fixing gaps than building. Switched to a simple sled on the table saw and it was night and day. The cuts are so much cleaner and square, and I can bang out a whole set in minutes now. What kind of sled are you running?

Read a woodworking blog that said routers can flex under load. @jenkins.alice, your sled fix makes total sense for keeping things square. Might have to try that method on my next cabinet build.

That router flex thing is REAL, I had the same issue. @jenkins.alice is right, a simple table saw sled fixed everything for me too.
