New guy's mix-up with a special cut order yesterday

A regular came in for a full beef tenderloin, but the trainee thought she said 'tenderloin tips'. He had it halfway trimmed before we caught the error. Had to apologize and rush the correct cut. Double check verbal orders with a quick repeat back, folks.

Ouch, that wasted premium meat probably cost MORE than the time to fix it!

Yikes, talk about pricey kitchen blunders. I once ruined a perfect steak by getting distracted and overcooking it. Felt like tossing cash right into the trash.
