Question about the fiber guy in Boise who told me our 50 Mbps upload was "plenty"
He said it at our old shop off Fairview last month and I keep thinking about it, because our 12 person office choked every afternoon at 3pm when backups ran. What upload speeds are you all actually running for a team that size?

50 Mbps up for 12 people is wild. What was the fiber guy even basing that on, just the download side? Curious what size pipe you ended up going with after you ditched that setup.

Eh, 50 up isn't crazy for 12 people if nobody's doing video calls all day. Most offices barely touch their upload unless they're pushing big files or streaming. Feels like the fiber guy might've actually been lowballing the down side if anything, not the up.
