Vent: My favorite fountain pen just exploded all over my weekly spread

I was setting up my May calendar with my Pilot Metropolitan, and the whole ink cartridge just gave out and leaked everywhere. I had to blot like six pages with paper towels, but the ghosting is still awful. Has anyone salvaged a journal after a major ink spill, or is this one just toast?

Ghosting is awful" but now you have a unique, abstract art background.

Is ghosting really that big of a deal? People stop talking all the time. It's not like they owe you a full report on why they're done. Maybe they just got busy or lost interest. Calling it "awful" seems like a bit much.
